Summer's in full swing! Festivals, fireworks, s'mores - it's almostthe best time of year!
Except for the bugs... and sunburn... and oh man, the HUMIDITY in Ohio...
But the heat's not going to stop us from having adventures, right? RIGHT!
So I've got some tips to make your summer session the best yet!
1.) SHOOT EARLY/LATE
Full daylight = sweat and squinting. Yuck! Shoot when the sun is lower in the sky, either right at sunrise or after 4 PM in the evening.
2.) DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
I love armor and full-length dresses. But if it's pushing 90°F? Leave the wool and hoop skirts at home! How about cute dresses? Mermaids? Absolutely!
3.) WATER
Carry an extra bottle of water for each person in your group. Plan your shoot at the beach or the pool!
4.) RECOVER
After the shoot, take a break in the shade or air conditioning.
Acquire water and ICE CREAM. Because everything is better with ice cream, right? RIGHT!
HAPPY SUMMER!
